Snail Games is hiring Localization Specialists to internationalize our great MMO titles and other mobile games. Candidates must be native speakers of one of the following languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, Portuguese, Turkish, Japanese, Arabic, and Thai. Ideal candidates have superior writing and problem-solving skills and want to start a career in the game industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Game text polishing: Work closely with our in-house translation and development teams to make our games shine!
- Localization testing: Problem-solving skills, a high level of initiative, and creativity are definitely required in tackling game testing problems and refining our processes. Innovation and curiosity are rewarded.
Requirements:
- Native speakers only
- Bachelor's degree holder
- Work in beautiful Suzhou
- Love video games, especially computer games
- Superior writing/communication skills, organized and detail-oriented
- Written and spoken Chinese or English skills
- Readiness to adapt to the Chinese gaming industry
- A jolly good sense of humor
Ideal attributes:
- Experience with bug reporting, version control, and localization
- Experience using Trados or similar localization tools
- Ability to write bug reports in Chinese
- Knowledge of scripting languages
